Child Dedications
We believe that the bible sets a precedent of bringing children to the Lord in dedication. As a church we’ll affirm parents, bless families, and speak purpose over the lives of our kids.
We are stewards
1. Presenting Children Back to God
And when the time came for their purification according to the Law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord. Luke 2:22
We are saying thank you
2. Praising God for These Children
He took him up in his arms and blessed God and said, “Lord, now you are letting your servant depart in peace, according to your word. Luke 2:28-29
We are speaking to their purpose
3. Prophesying a Biblical Future
For my eyes have seen your salvation that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel.” Luke 2:30-32
We are sure of God's blessing
4. Passing on a Generational Blessing
And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom. And the favor of God was upon him. Luke 2:40
