Subject: Camp Rock Day 4 – The grand finale!
Camp Rock families,
Drum roll, please…. Today your kids completed the journey through God’s creation by exploring Day 6 from Genesis 1:24-31, discovering land animals, creeping things, and the best part of creation – people!
We ended our week focusing on our key memory verse: “What a wildly wonderful world, God! You made it all, with Wisdom at your side, Made earth overflow with your wonderful creations” (Psalm 104:24 MSG). Today we celebrated God’s perfect design, learning that we are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image!
Camp Rock Memory Lane: Which day stole the show for your child? Day 1’s light show, Day 2’s cosmic adventure, Day 3’s creatures, or today’s grand finale?
Today’s highlights: We love it all!
- Worship time singing “God Made Everything” and “Freedom”
- Response song “Jesus at the Center”
- Creating terrariums that brought together all of God’s creation from the week
- Epic foam party to celebrate our amazing week
- Special treats with oreos, applesauce, and pudding worm cups
Final Field Assignment: Observe a Living Creature
Thank you for participating in our field assignments this week! Today’s challenge is for your whole family – continue to wonder at God’s creation all around you. Observe the plants and wildlife around you, knowing that when we learn about our world, we learn to take care of it and be amazed by God’s wonderful masterpiece!
